The annual carnival to celebrate Sneakerball northwest Royce Square in
Madrid, Spain, organized, Nike teamed New York artist Shane Griffin designed a
concept of sculpture as an event to welcome the entrance of the center exhibits.
For Shane, it is no doubt the creative planning is a challenging task. He needs
to create a work of art with 3D effects, not only to be used as a sculpture show
at the event, the need to apply to the printed form of commercial propaganda via
the. Shane Griffin collaboration with Nike designer Colin Cornwell, first from
the beginning of 3D modeling, followed by foam sculpture carved out the basic
shape, and then crafted into the final image: three Air Jordan 1, Nike Air Force
1, Nike Blazer were the same as the three meteorite crashing into the sport in
basketball. The final finishing touch is that the entire foam sculpture is
coated with a cement gray, looks no different from the real stone sculptures,
spectacular even use the term to describe them.
The event is to celebrate the end of the 2014 World Cup in Spain organized
basketball, but also in the active site shows the NIKE brand basketball shoes
ages designed to allow local fans understand NIKE basketball culture.
